Provided project management for transition to a fully integrated EMR and implementation of Meaningful Use.  Completed ongoing assessment and analysis of clinical and operational processes. Developed productivity and patient care tools and managed staff education and quality improvement.

  • Configured EMR to integrate clinical data from multiple sources with billing and QA processes.

Worked at Adventist Care Centers throughout this time period.  First, as an employee of Novacare, who was contracted to provide rehab services for Adventist Care Centers.  Then for Rehab Works, who acquired Novacare and took over the ACC contract.  Finally, for Adventist Care Centers, who went “in house” and offered a continued lead position. 

  • Created and implemented individualized assessment and treatment programs for patients.

  • Provided area wide wound care and prevention program development, consulting and education.

  • Participated in weekly resident physician rounds.

  • Supervised physical therapy assistants and aides.

  • Developed computerized forms and scheduling programs.

  • Recruited by Swedish Hospital to work in an interdisclipinary outpatient wound clinic.
